What is CPROLL and who is it for?
CPROLL is a payroll management platform built for companies to run their entire payroll operation end-to-end. Whether you have 20 employees or 2,000, CPROLL handles onboarding, attendance, payroll processing, payslips, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS) from a single portal — designed so your HR and finance teams can manage everything for your workforce in one place. It also scales naturally if you later manage multiple companies or branches.
How do I set up my company in CPROLL?
After signing up, open the Companies section and click "Add Company". This single company record represents your business — give it your business name, start date, contact person, and total employees. End date is optional — leave it empty for ongoing operations. Once created, everything else — employees, attendance, payroll, and payslips — flows from this company.
How do I manage employee attendance?
CPROLL supports multiple capture methods so every employee's attendance is recorded accurately: a dedicated mobile app with geo-fencing so punches are only accepted inside your authorised work location, and biometric devices for on-site check-in / check-out. You can also enter attendance manually through the portal or bulk-upload CSV / XLS / XLSX. Attendance can be locked once finalized, so payroll always runs on approved data.
Does CPROLL handle PF, ESI, and TDS deductions?
Yes. Statutory deductions are calculated automatically based on each employee's settings and your company's compliance configuration. You can generate challans, payslips, and statutory reports directly from CPROLL to stay compliant with Indian labor law and PF/ESI regulations.
Can I generate GST e-invoices from CPROLL?
Yes. If you bill clients or vendors, CPROLL's billing module generates invoices and can push them through the GST portal for e-Invoice generation. Payment tracking and automated reminders are built in, so you don't need to chase dues manually. If you only run in-house payroll, you can skip the billing module entirely.
What happens if I go over my plan's employee limit?
CPROLL tracks your employee count against your plan in real time. As you approach the limit, you'll be prompted to upgrade — your data is never lost, and upgrades take effect immediately without downtime.
How do I get support if I'm locked out of my account?
Request a temporary support session from the login screen. Our team issues a one-time OTP that restores access for a limited window so you can get back in quickly — with no loss of data.
